Hello everyone! These are the projects we made at my September class by post. If you would like to join me next month just get in touch!
The first card is using a base of the notecards from Stampin’Up! Then a layer of DSP, I chose the sweet as a peach DSP which was balmy blue and spotted, which I thought was a little like snow(?!) Then a layer of white, which I ripped across at an angle, creating two pieces. The largest you put on the DSP, and the smaller piece you pop on top, creating the effect of snowy slopes. I popped this layer up on dimensionals to give depth.
Then I took some trees dies and cut out in a variety of colours; Pool Party, blushing bride and night of navy. I also cut two from the gorgeous dazzling paper (which is a freebie during sale-a-bration- only til the end of this month and whilst stocks last) . I placed the trees at different levels, popping some up on dimensionals. The sentiment I stamped straight onto the white, and it’s from the whimsical trees set.
The second card is a base of white, then a layer of white which I embossed with the wintery 3d folder in the pine. I used the largest tree from the Christmas tree dies, in soft seafoam, then the zigzag tinsel which I cut from the dazzling paper which is a freebie during sale-a-bration. The parcels are fussy-cut from a piece of whimsy and wonder DSP, some glued on flat, and some popped up on dimensionals. I added one of the wonderful snowflakes, and on top I added the sentiment, which I heat embossed with white onto black. I really love this card- so sparkly and Christmassy!
The last card is a base of misty moonlight, then a layer of dazzling paper (just love this!) Then a little sweet as a peach DSP peeking through behind some stitched stars, one in basic grey and a larger one in Smokey slate. I then added some ribbon (just jade and gold) which I gently prized apart to make it wider! On top I added ‘happy’ in balmy blue, then the sentiment in just jade, from a grand kid, and I just snipped the birthday part to use. To finish, a few white stars from the Christmas cheer dies.
I just love the dazzling paper which is a freebie during sale-a-bration! I hope you like my cards, and if you want to join next month’s class just get in touch.
