Hello everyone! For my August class we had a Pale Papaya and Mint macaron theme. I used the happy dies from the Christmas cheer dies from Stampin’Up! which I absolutely love!!
For the black card, I had a white base then a layer of black, then a white layer, which I used the stitched greenery die on. I love this die soooo much! Then I used the detail die happy in Mint macaron. Then added the thin happy die in Pale Papaya. I heat embossed with white onto black (this always looks fab!) just the birthday part from Sweet as a peach stamp set. You can watch my YouTube tutorial Here
The next card is another happy birthday one, again using the Christmas cheer dies. (Can’t get enough!) This time the detail die in white, and the thin happy die in Mint macaron. A base card of Mint macaron, then a layer of white which I used the stitched greenery die on (again!) I then used die cut flowers from the pierced blooms dies, in Pale Papaya. I added a white bakers twine bow ( which you should add BEFORE you stick on your happy die cut piece!- see my YouTube tutorial for how not to do it lol😂) For the birthday part, I used the stamp set A Grand Kid, and just cut the part I needed. The last project was a chocolate bar gift wrap/box/sleeve/!! I made this for a particular chocolate bar, so the measurements are a little bit tricky!
For the ‘box’ tray part;
score length ways@ ½, 1, 4½, 5, then cut at 5½”. (You can use the other part for another box, or use it for your base card for a different project.)
then turn and score @⅜, and ⅞” from each end.
For the ‘wrap’;
score@ 1½, 2¹/¹⁶, 5⅝, 6³/¹⁶”
