Hi everyone! Today I made a card that had a little gift card holder inside, and a matching tag. The sentiment is from ‘Happiest of birthdays’ and is such a gorgeous font, it makes a card just on its own. I added a few presents from the fantastic ‘Family party’set, which a stamped in matching colours Just Jade and Blackberry bliss.
The base is Blackberry bliss, and I added some DSP in Just Jade. The sentiment is stamped using the same two colours, just by using the ink pad on one end – in one colour-and then the other end in the other colour.
A firm favourite set of mine at the moment is ‘Family party’. Not only are there so many words that you can personalise your cards, but there’s also a fab little present stamp that I just ADORE! I stamped this in Just Jade, and again to get a paler version. Then I stamped the dots and bow in Blackberry bliss. I then fussy-cut these out and attached with dimensionals. I love how it looks!
Inside the card I made a simple gift card holder, which was so easy- it is just scoring and folding over, and then glueing to attach. I cut a piece the same width as the card front, then scored 2/8″ from each side. The length was 4 1/2″, and then scored 3/8″ from the bottom. I then folded the scored pieces over and glued them on! Simple. I added a scrap of the DSP I used on the front, along with another present.
I really like this simple card, and it really was simple to make! I just love how Stampin’Up! makes products that make the most beautiful cards.
