Hey everyone, and Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums! Thought I’d share the card I made for my lovely mum.

I had a base card of basic white, and stamped around the edge with the flower stamp from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set from Stampin’Up! I inked in Purple Posy, but you could use Highland Heather and stamp off for a paler tone.
I then had a layer of basic white 4×6″, which I mounted onto Highland Heather which was just a 1/4″ bigger, so to give a narrow border. On my white layer, I then die cut another white layer from my rectangle stitched die. I then used my 3D brick embossing folder to create some texture. I love this embossing folder!
I splattered some ink using my blends, and then adhered the hydrangea as I did in my previous post March class projects
Check out that stunning 3D flower head!
For my sentiment, I heat embossed with white onto Purple Posy. I used Well Said stamp set.
For the letters MUM, I used the Playful alphabet dies, cut out in white, but then added some Purple Posy ink with my blending brush, just on parts of the letters, giving a very slight ombre effect.

Hope you like my card today, and I’ve inspired you! Love Jane x
