Well hello there everyone! I do hope you are doing ok in this very strange time we are in. I have to say it is a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions, but finding time to craft is a great therapy!
For this card, I created a ‘hello’ just to send to a friend. I think it’s lovely to show you are thinking of people. Why does there always have to be a birthday or occasion?
I started with a vase of ‘Seaside Spray’. This is my absolute favourite colour, I just love it! Then I made a layer of Purple Post, and stamped some of the tiny flower all around the edge. The stamp set is called ‘Blossoms in bloom’ and they come with matching dies in a bundle. Then I got a whisper white layer and blended using a sponge dauber, using Seaside Spray and Misty Moonlight. I then flicked some white craft ink with a water painter.
Before adhering, I cut 2 of the smaller flower dies from the bundle. Then once adhered, I cut the same dies from whisper white and added them into the space. This let the purple posy peek through! I added a few more of the smaller flower die cut pieces. Then I cut the word hello from a piece of Seaside spray and popped it up with dimensionals. A couple of rhinestones complete the card.
I hope my friend will like this little hello through her letter box!
