Hi everyone. It is my gorgeous little niece’s birthday today! She is 3 years old so I created a pretty, pink and purple card with a little sparkle just for her!

I knew I wanted pink, purple and sparkly, but didn’t know where to start. So I looked to the Global Design Project and just like that, I had my inspiration!

I loved the texture that Manuela had used in her card, so I wanted to create that on my card. I decided to use the ‘Many layered blossom dies’ to emboss, not cut. For this effect, I used my silicone mat instead of the cutting plate. I also used a rectangle stitched die to emboss too.
On the pink card, I heat embossed with white the flowers from’Blossoms in bloom’ and fussy-cut round them part way, leaving a strip of card. I added white twine for detail.
The letters were cut using the alphabet dies, and I also cut the same letters from foam adhesive sheets, meaning the letters popped up.
I added a few punched butterflies and rhinestones, as I knew my niece loves butterflies!
I love this fun colourful card, and just to let you know- my niece loved it too!
