Class projects

June by post class

Hi everyone! Thought I’d share with you my June by post class projects.

We made a gorgeous card using the stunning ‘Many layered blossom dies’. The base was Magenta Madness, then a layer of Blushing Bride, then a final layer of Whisper white. Such an easy card to make, the dies just make a card on their own! We then added the ‘Hello’ letters, which were die cut from the Playful alphabet dies. I also used the new foam adhesive sheets, to die cut the letters, then adhere them to the foam- you can make custom dimensionals this way- BRILLIANT!! It meant the letters were exactly the right shape and really made the letters pop!

The second card was a whale ‘shaker’ card! Great fun! On a base of Pool Party, glue on some of the whale DSP. I then glued a few sequins on. I like doing this so you see some sequins. Otherwise when you stand the card up, all the sequins fall to the bottom, and you don’t see any. That’s just what I like to do. Then attach some window sheet to the back of the front panel. The front panel I embossed with the Seabed embossing folder- so gorgeous😍 I created the window using the stitched shape dies, using the large circle.  Then turning over, use the foam strips to go around on top of the adhered window sheet, all around the edge of the circle, making sure there’s no gaps so the sequins don’t escape! You can then pop in some sequins into the centre of your DSP, before adhering the top panel on top, creating your shaker card! Love it!

The final project was a little box topped with a daisy, punched with the daisy punch. I used a retired punch 1/2″, for the centre part of the daisy.

Hope you like my projects for this month. If you’d like to join in next month, just get it touch- I’d love you to join us!
