Class projects, kit, Notes of Kindness

June class projects

Hi everyone. Thought I’d share the projects we made at class this month.

I’d been asked to do a masculine card so I used a similar idea to the thanks card in my previous post. -I’d also been told someone hadn’t done heat embossing so I knew I had to rectify that!! Cue lots of embossing!!-

My attendees could choose the sentiment father’s Day or birthday. We heat embossed this with white embossing powder onto black card- I love this effect so much! Everyone agreed! It really makes the words pop!

The happy die was from the ‘well written’ set and the sentiments were from the matching stamp set ‘well said’. These are such useful sets I use them so much! The background was from the All-inclusive kit ‘notes of kindness’. Which lead us into the other card, which was one of the kit cards! (Nice link there😉!)

We also did a bit of heat embossing with silver, using the little crosses stamp from the kit.

The kit is so gorgeous and I just love how you can re-use all the stamps once you’ve made up all the cards! Everyone got to choose one of the cards from the kit. This meant not everyone had the same card, which was nice. See my previous post to see more on the kit.

We also made a cute little box with a magnetic closure which had a box of mints in. Again I tried to do a more masculine theme on this and used the little crosses stamp from the kit again. This was heat embossed with silver which again looks stunning on the black card.
