Hey everyone! These were the cards we did for this month’s posted class. We did a blending brush technique class, so three different ways to use the brushes.

The first card was showcasing a basic background technique with the blending brushes. I used Seaside Spray (of course!) but everyone had their choice of colour. I used the ‘Kangaroo and company’ stamp set. This is a super set and I’ve been using it a lot lately! My YouTube tutorial is available here
The next card is using the bubble background technique, which I saw Jennifer Frost do over at The Crafty Carrot collective. Her original video is here Thanks for sharing Jenn, I love this technique! For my card, I punched out different sized circles from a scrap piece of card, then used the blending brush to create soft circles, like bubbles. You can build up the differing depths of colour, or even a mix of colours, to get a gorgeous background. I prefer the pale, softer hues, so I created mine by building up very softly. My YouTube tutorial is here
My last card is the heat embossing technique. Heat embossed with white, then use the blending brush to build up the colour on top, it really pops! My YouTube tutorial is here
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you liked my cards. You can purchase any of the products I used to create these cards, just head to my online Store
