Hello, Hints and tips, Sale-a-bration

A touch of ink with a blending brush

Hi everyone! Today’s card I made using a freebie during sale-a-bration! It’s called ‘A touch of ink’ and for this card I used the leaves.

On my white layer, I stamped in versamark, then heat embossed with white. I then took my blending brush and used Pool party to add some soft colour. I love this effect!!!

I stamped the ‘hello friend’ and punched out with my circle 1 1/2″ punch. I went around the edge with the blending brush, to give a little texture, and stamped a couple of the little leaves, which I coloured using my blender pen. Then I added some sheer pool party ribbon across the card, adhering to the back with my Stampin seal. Then I adhered the layer to my base card of Pool party. I added a bow from bakers twine, which I attached with a glue dot, and just a few rhinestones finished the card.

I am so pleased with this card, I just love the effect, and I think I’ll make some more in different colours. I hope you like it!

You can get this stamp set for free during sale-a-bration, with a qualifying purchase. Head to my online store here

Have a lovely day!

Love Jane x

Edit- I made some more in different colours!! I couldn’t resist! Blushing bride, Highland Heather, and of course Seaside Spray! Which is your favourite?? X
