Back to my favourite colour, Seaside Spray πŸ’™ This week’s global design project sketch challenge #gdp242

Well hello everyone! So I’ve gone back to my absolute favourite colour Seaside Spray πŸ’™πŸ˜πŸ₯° for this week’s global design project sketch challenge.

I looked at the sketch and I thought I would flip it a bit, and have my greeting as the circle, and my image where the ‘greeting’ was. I don’t know, I just thought I’d change it up a bit!

My base is Seaside Spray and I took my ‘Free as a bird’ stamp set, used the little flower to heat emboss in white along the top and bottom edges. I then attached my biggest stitched rectangle die of vellum. Tip- when attaching vellum you can see the glue, so place the glue in tiny dots along where the pattern is, in this case, where the flowers are along the edge. I also bluefin the middle where the circle would cover it.

I then took the largest stitched circle (from the stitched shapes dies) and drew round in on some whisper white. This gave me a guide to where my sentiments should go. I then stamped my greeting ‘hello’ from ‘Free as a bird’ in lines across my circle so the circle was covered. I then die cut it out, and attached to the middle of my card.

I then stamped the large image of the birds on the branch on whisper white in memento black. I coloured using my blends, and fussy-cut this out. I attached to my circle using dimensionals. I finished with a few rhinestones.

I love it! As you know I love Seaside Spray anyway, but combined with the birds, it just works so well!! πŸ’™πŸ˜

  1. Jane, your birds are beautifully colored and fussy cut. They look so pretty against the circle of hellos. I love your card! Thank you for sharing with GDP.
