Hi! This card I made for my mum to give my son for his birthday. I had to use green as it’s his favourite colour!
I actually found my inspiration from the catalogue….this is such a good tip, if you are ever in need of inspiration then flick through and your are sure to find some!
I used the stamp set ‘family party’ to create my sentiment, using some granny apple green and some memento black. I also heat embossed white onto black for some of the sentiments, and fussy-cut them out.
The centre panel was created with the birthday present dots, from the ‘family party’ set, again- stamping in both granny apple green and black.
I stamped some of the presents in granny apple green and again, so you get a paler colour (stamping off) I then stamped over the top, the dots and bow stamp, in green and some in black. I have to tell you- I am in love with this stamp!! I cut these out to place around my square. The square is the large stitched shape die, in granny apple green. Then a smaller square in whisper white, I cut with my trimmer, so it was just a tad smaller. As I say, I got my inspiration from the catalogue for this….see if you can find it! In the catalogue they had a present wrapped up, but I used this image to inspire my card!
I used the retiring set ‘for the win’ (get it quickly before it retires!) To cut out a football and a trophy, again with a couple of presents.
I even decorated the inside, with a few presents, and a couple of Dino’s from ‘dino days’, with the sentiment “you’re rawrsome” popped up on a dimensional.
I hope you like this card as much as I do!
