Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin arrives in the UK!!

Hey everyone. I’m super excited because in the UK we have had a little treat!

In the USA those lovely people have had Paper Pumpkin for a long time, but it has only been available there. It is a box full of goodies, which you can subscribe to, and every month you can look forward to your delivery of fabulous-ness(!), never knowing quite what you’re going to get as it’s a surprise every time!

Oh my, whenever I see pictures of what people have made and what they have received, I have longed for the chance to have it available here, in the UK.

Well! Guess what?! As a special treat, Shelli (co-founder and board chair of Stampin’Up!) has designed a truly special addition of Paper Pumpkin, and what’s more- it is available in the UK!! I am so excited, I couldn’t wait to order as soon as I could! So I have savoured every moment and thought I’d share some pictures with you😊

Here is the beautiful box. So gorgeous even before you open it you know you are going to love what’s inside!

So when you open it up, you have a super sweet stamp set staring at you, along with an Early Espresso ink spot. Then you unwrap the tissue paper to find the kit, which has notecards and envelopes, and embellishments to make 12 cards.

You have all this inside! I have only included one of each notecard and envelope, but you have 3 of each design. There are foil card pieces to stamp your sentiment onto, dimensionals, glue dots, vellum feathers, beautiful twine, stunning ribbon, and card flowers that just pop out for you to add to your cards. I did sit and admire it all, maybe longer than I should’ve done😂

Then came the exciting part of putting them together…1558775914317.jpg

So these are the finished cards I made and there are enough for three of each design. You could change them up of course, or just stick with the designs given. I decided to stick with the designs as they were already so stunning 💙

Once you have made all the cards, you are left with the stamp set (and the ink spot), so I made some other cards using this stamp set, but also adding some other bits and pieces…

These cards I made using the butterfly DSP I had left over from sale-a-bration, and the stitched rectangle dies. I then stamped the hello from the set, and stamped and fussy cut the flowers from the set, adding some colour with blends. I popped the flowers up using dimensionals. SUPER simple! But oh so beautiful 💙

These little 3×3 cards I made with the flowers and the ‘spodges'(!) from the stamp set, creating backgrounds that are so simple it’s unbelievable. Add in some sentiments from the stamp set and you have some great little cards ready in the blink of an eye😉

A close up of one of the 3×3 cards, and another card using the thank you sentiment from the set. This time the stitched rectangle die was cut out of the Very Vanilla layer and once stamped, popped up on dimensionals and put back in to place, just giving that little bit of dimension and hint of the green base card beneath. The flower stamp from the set was repeat stamped, both first and second generation*(see below) to create a background in the top left and bottom right.

*First generation is inking your stamp and stamping onto your project. Second generation is when you don’t re-ink your stamp after stamping, and stamp -creating a paler image. Third generation would be paler still.*

Well I have had SUCH a great time with this kit. It is truly an amazing opportunity to have Paper Pumpkin over here in the UK. I am hoping it won’t be the last??!! (Pretty please!)

I hope you like what I’ve made, and I’ve inspired you to have a go. To order this fab kit please head over to my online store but please be quick as it’s only available for a limited time and whilst stocks last! Go now!!

Love Jane x
