Hey everyone! Looks like the weather took notice of my plea yesterday! What a beautiful day it is! ☀️
So my eldest has gone out for the day with his friend. They have gone to Brighton and up the i360!!! Eeek that’s not for me, I so don’t like heights lol! I’ve done lots of jobs this morning with my youngest as my helper! He has been rewarded with a go on the computer game, so I’ve managed to squeeze in a bit of time to create this little card! I am going to give it to my son’s friend’s Nan who has taken them out today.
I absolutely love this sentiment from ‘Little Elephant’ stamp set. I totally agree a little kindness IS a big thing. 💙
I created the background with a watercolour wash of Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana onto shimmery white cardstock. Once dry I used the little flower die from the ‘Lovely flowers edgelits’ and the Big shot embossing mats to emboss a few of the flowers over my card. I also die cut some in both Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana. The sentiment is stamped in Coastal Cabana ink onto a cut out from the rectangle stitched framelits. I also framed it with one of the wooden frames elements. I knew I wanted the sentiment to be the star of the card!
I used some of the lovely flowers edgelits, and snipped off some of the flowers to mount around the rectangle.
I also used my Coastal Cabana marker to flick some ink onto my watercolour, just to add something extra!
Then I assembled all my pieces, finishing off with some sequins and rhinestones.
I love how it turned out and hope you do too!
Right we’re off to the park to make the most of this gorgeous weather…☀️💙👋
