Hey everyone. This was a card I made for a fortieth birthday.
I heat embossed the numbers (from a retired set, but I love it so much I will keep using it!) and then did a watercolour wash using Balmy Blue. (I used shimmery white cardstock). I layered this onto Soft Seafoam.
I then embellished! I used a couple of offcut scraps of Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana, and on top I added a little piece of the white flax ribbon. I must say the pool party and white bakers twine (from the Little Twinkle suite) is such a favourite of mine 💙 so I used this to wrap around three times. The sentiment is from the little elephant stamp set, which I punched out and layered onto Soft Seafoam. The little butterfly is from the wooden butterfly elements, which I heat embossed with white so it better fitted my colour scheme. Lastly I added some sequins and some stars, before layering this whole lot onto my base card of whisper white.
Hope you like this and I’ve inspired you today!
