Hi everyone! I wanted to make a Christmas card with a robin, so I grabbed my ‘free as a bird’ stamp set, and stamped the group of birds in crumb cake. I then used my blends to colour the first bird in robin colours. I also used my thin black pen to change the leaves to holly leaves and colour his beak, and also highlight his eye. Then I fussy-cut around.
I used a rectangle stitched die to make a white background, then popped my robin onto dimensionals, on top of a white bakers twine bow. I heat embossed with white onto black the sentiment, then popped up on dimensionals, next to my robin.
This was then layered onto a piece of DSP which I had from sale-a-bration, iin buffalo check red and black. This was layered onto a base card of white.
I love how my robin turned out, and love how you can use your blends to change the type of bird! I hope you like it too! Let me know if you create different birds. You can purchase any of the products I used to create this card, just head to my Online store
Love Jane x
