GDP, Thank you

My entry for #gdp280

Hi everyone! This card I created from looking at the global design project this week. The challenge was to case the designer, this week it was Janneke De Jong. Her card was so pretty, and I loved the banners, so this was my idea to start with.

I used the gorgeous ‘Oh so ombre’ DSP which is a freebie during sale-a-bration. These papers are the best- so versatile! I’ve been using them a lot! I created a layer as my background border with the Bermuda bay dotted paper, then a basic white layer over the top. I used some off cuts of various papers to make my banners- the pink dots, the green dots, and plain purple, all in the ‘Oh so ombre’ DSP, and the green leaves from ‘Paper Blooms’. I made them all banners by cutting a ‘V’ shape at the end of my piece.

I used another sale-a-bration freebie, the truly stunning ‘Touch of ink’ stamp set (free with a £90 spend). I used the little dots stamp to do a bit of a background, using Soft Seafoam. Then I knew I wanted to use some flowers and leaves from the pierced blooms dies. These are so so good. I used a pool party, and a Seaside Spray flower, then a soft seafoam leaf. I created a bow from white bakers twine, which I separated to make a thinner piece and popped it behind my white banner. The white banner I stamped with Bermuda bay, with the thank you so much stamp from ‘Touch of ink’.

I really like this Spring-is-coming type card!! And I just love how it’s made with so many FREE products!!

If you’d like to order anything and get any freebies (with every £45 spend) then please head to my online store. Sale-a-bration ends 28th February so you have to be quick!! Don’t miss out!

If you’d like to check out the original card I cased, and everyone else’s cards, please head over to the global design project

Thanks for stopping by, love Jane x
